to provide a predictable cost quote and stick to it. For example, we might
not be able to predict how many depositions a litigation opponent may want
to take, but we can tell you upfront what each deposition will cost you.
- The No Question, Value Line: Our clients are
sophisticated purchasers of services. You come to us to solve a
problem and that solution has a value to you. We try to match our
fee to that value. We add a blank “Value Line” to our invoices and
we encourage our clients to adjust our proposed fee – up or down – to
match the value received by the client. We may ask why the
adjustment was made so we can replicate or avoid in the future, but no
arguments from us. We are willing to be judged and compensated on
the value of our results, not time expended.

how we do it. We strive to preserve resources and prevent
pollution, such as buying only recycled paper and copying
double-sided, cleaning with less toxic products and conserving water. We
use efficient lighting systems, ENERGY STAR computer equipment, and HVAC
controls to save energy. We believe every little thing done to
improve the environment helps.
